In October 2017, Textron Aviation delivered the 100th Cessna Citation Latitude. The delivery occurred only 26 months since the first Latitude entered service. The jet was bought by NetJets and delivered at Textron’s headquarters in Wichita, Kansas, USA.
42 Latitudes were delivered in 2016 which qualified it as the most delivered midsize jet in that year. It has now been certified in 39 countries.
The Latitude has a max cruise speed of 446 ktas with a range of 2,700 nautical miles with 4 passengers. The cabin is configured to comfortably seat up to 9 passengers with a true “stand-up cabin” at a height of 6 feet and a cabin width of 6 feet 5 inches. It has entered the market as a competitor to the Embraer Legacy 450, Bombardier’s Challenger 300 and the Cessna Citation Sovereign Plus.
